“Come Grow With Us”
June 3rd 6:30pm
Throughout the evening, bidders enjoy
music, catered food and cash bar as they
browse the collectibles, artwork, jewelry,
gift certificates, vacation packages,
beauty products and more that have
been generously donated by individuals
and businesses. The evening culminates
with an exciting live auction where a
veteran auctioneer rounds up bidders for
one-of-a-kind items only found at the
HCWC annual auction. Whether you are
a seasoned or novice auction attendee,
this is the evening for you!
We will be face painting at this
event. Any proceeds that we
receive will go directly to the Hays
Caldwell Women's Center.

JUNE 5-7TH
Camp HeartSong is a three-day summer
camp sponsored by CTMC Hospice Care
in San Marcos. The camp has been
created to meet the special
needs of children who have experienced
the death of a family member or
significant person in their lives. The
primary goal of Camp HeartSong
is to provide a stress-free and fun
camping experience where kids can “just
be kids”. In addition, the camp will
provide a safe and supportive
environment for boys and girls ages 8 to
12 to explore the feelings surrounding
their
loss. The well-being and emotional safety
of each camper is of primary importance
and the individual needs of
each child will be treated with respect.
Support groups and individual
counseling will be made available by our
bereavement counselor.
Mia our founder has been invited to
attend as a camp counselor! She will
provide details of how this event goes
upon her return.

| We would just like to thank everyone in the community for all their support with our school supply drive. We were able to provide 23 backpacks with supplies to the Women's Center and an additional 29 bags-with exact school list- to children in our community. Thanks to all the local businesses that served as drop-off locations. Please visit and support them! A big heartfelt thanks to the Milagros
Heart Group! They generously donated
all the leftover BBQ from their event
Friday evening. There was enough
food for about 200 people left. The
BBQ went to the Hays Caldwell
Women's Center, a needy family in
Buda and two needy families in Austin.
Thanks again Milagros! If we all work
together many things can be
accomplished.
