Hope & Love 4 Kids (HL4K) would like to thank everyone who came out to the second Use Your Voice event. Several local officials including Judge Anna Boling, County Commissioner Jeff Barton and Kyle Mayor Lucy Johnson came out to help us educate the community about the political process, including registering constituents to vote and demonstrating how to use the electronic voting machine. Miss Kyle 2010, Jennifer Hamzy and Miss Kyle Teen 2010, Christina Nunez, even took time out of their schedules to come out and get registered! This event also served as a valuable community resource thanks to ACC, HEB Healthy Living and Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center. Each of these organizations was present to educate community members and support Hope & Love 4 Kids. We would also like to extend a special thanks to our partner, the Hays County Elections Office, for investing in community education and supporting political literacy.

Hope & Love 4 Kids would like to give a special thanks to the TX Fit Body Boot Camp and The Biggest Loser Alumni for their generosity. We were amazed and humbled by the number of community members that came out to support our organization at 5:30 AM this morning at the Plum Creek Pavilion. We had a great time, got a great workout and all proceeds were donated to Hope & Love 4 Kids.
